2 Espadrilles from Madrid

Calle de la Sal, 3

We are a small family business with more than 100 years of experience in the retail trade.

After opening a store in Barcelona of alpargatas, and seeing the success achieved, we decided to open in 2017 in Madrid a new store with the same concept: handmade espadrilles, made in Spain, that mix design, tradition and comfort.

The store is on a pedestrian street, with an old and extensive commercial tradition, and joins two of the most emblematic squares of the city: the Puerta del Sol and the Plaza Mayor.

This endearing store is located in a centennial building, declared of cultural interest by the Madrid City Council, in the so-called Esquina de los Austrias.

They wanted to maintain the Galdosian architectural ornaments of the façade, restore the original black and white marble floor, and recover the original granite stone walls.
